Replacement of wedges under bandages

Supply and assembly
Our skills revolve around:
- Ability to supply wedges, cradles, hoops
- Capacity to supply sprockets, crowns, tires (up to 3700 mm)
- Reducer maintenance
- Supervision of crown assembly and new tires provided by NOVEXA (based on validated plans)
- Transmission of a technical report including plans and assembly dimensions
Correct adjustment is necessary
Correct adjustment is essential to avoid premature wear of equipment. We have noticed that in almost 90% of cases, precise adjustment would have avoided the development of damage.
The conditions for correct adjustment are :
- Perfectly Cylindrical Bandages
- Perfectly cylindrical pebbles parallel to the tires
- Generators less than 0.04 mm flatness
- Steering of 1 or 2 groups of rollers, on the ascent or descent, so as to obtain the minimum pressure on the thrust rollers
Roller adjustment
NOVEXA today offers the combined advantage of a know-how on gears, tires and alignment checks. Following the supply and/or replacement of shims, an alignment and setting check are necessary.
We thus define:
- The levels of the massifs and the settings corresponding to the differences
- The diameters of rollers and the values of shims necessary to compensate for the differences in axis levels
- The deflections of the rollers intended to balance the tube and thus avoid excessive pressure on the stops
The necessary modifications to be made to the gear settings if necessary (beat game et tooth bottom game)
We provide:
- Shims calculated according to theodolite measurements
- Hydraulic cylinders for lifting
- The specifically trained workforce
- The cradle
An adjustment and setting operation is entirely carried out by qualified NOVEXA personnel.
