Control of a pinion and a new crown

The control of a crown comprises 3 aspects :

• Metallurgical aspect
• Dimensional control
• Conformity of tolerance levels concerning profiles, pitches, flatness and adjustments before starting of machinery

Novexa is able to conduct points 2 and 3 thanks to :

• The use of our theodolite
• Control tools for gear geometry
• Templates, created through our calculation software for gear

We have repeatedly been confronted to profile defects on new pinions.
Only involutely recut profiles can work without interferences, vibrations and shocks.

Novexa offers the control of :

• Conformity of involute recut profiles, pitches, flatness, laisse kdent...
• Shimming and load distribution before start (tube in charge)
• Alignment of levels
