The wear control of your equipment (gear) should lead to objective measurements enabling an efficient decision making process.

Regarding the harness pinion / crown, NOVEXA offers you a kit :

• Control templates in order to measure wear and thus quantify profile deformation as well as wear speed precise to 0,05 mm annually
• Documentation used for machining of tools
• An explanatory document of methodology and calculations

In order to create your templates, we need the following data :

• Module
• Pressure angle
• Number of teeth on pinion and crown
• Exterior diameters of pinion and crown
• Pinion and crown width
• Helix angle (helix on the right or left on pinion)

These templates are anticipating tools. They contribute to an important reduction of maintenance expenses thanks to a more precise estimate and anticipation of wear levels.
