Measurements are carried out with our LEICA Total station.
Station changes enable us to go round the machinery, changing the position of the theodolite while maintaining the initial reference x, y, z.

Measurements are carried out through a cube corner, which helps obtaining very precise measurements thanks to automatic centering of the machine.

All raw data, collected by our LEICA system is transmitted without particular comments.

All inclination values of rollers and tires are transmitted.
This can comprise eventual roller adjustments, axial constraints and beginning damages.

Measurements of interior and exterior diameters provide all conical information.

Correct adjustment of 2 conical elements is impossible, because they create axial constraints.

Thus, machining is necessary in order to adjust the cylinders perfectly.

Altimetry measurements on the fundation / levels are possible.

This gives way to all types of measurements whatever the industry (port industries, car part assembly, sugar refineries, cement works, fertilizer industry, chemistry industry, paper industry...).

A resumee of conicity and of every spacing provides information about adjustments on x, z in order to guarantee angles of 30°.The triangulation is necessary in order to distribute the constraints on every roller.

A synthetic table resumes :
- shimming values, used for correction of roller inclinations
- shimming values used for correction of tube inclination
- roller adjustment values
- all shimming data respect the 30° in relation to the vertical axis.
