Of a great importance for all kinds of industrial equipment, the quality of adjustment measures is essential in order to optimize the shelf life of equipment at the time of a first assembly, a restart or restoring of equipment by machining (rollers and tires).

Our business activities in the field of gear have enabled us to develop an unequaled precision based on geometrical control measures after cutting combined with exact adjustments before and after restarting of the equipment.

Our business activities in the field of tires have provided us with the capacity of precisely adjust rotative equipment without undoing or impairing the work already carried out.

In 2008, we have therefore invested in a complete LEICA TDA 5005 station, technical updating, training and recruitment of qualified staff. These investments have enabled us to offer you :

Extraordinary viewing characteristics

• Very precise measurement (0.3mm to 20 meters) with prisms and sight targets
• High precision of measurement with cube corner sight targets (+/- 0.2mm to 60 meters)
• Use of selectable sight targets (prisms, sight targets, cube corner sight targets ccr)
• Angle measurement precise to 0.00001°
• Angular precision to 0.5 minute (1 sigma)
• Integrated auto-collimation device

Real time data processing

• Use of data processing software Microlog
• Visualization of coordinates x,y,z for every central point
• Visualization of angles between rollers and tires

Supply of a complete report which can include

• Inclination values on tubes and every tire
• Inclination values on every roller
• Center and diagonal distances of rollers
• Center distances on every roller/tire and angle measurement in relation to the vertical axis
• Diameters between entry and exit on every rolling element
• Vertical and horizontal measurement of axis positions
• Shimming values, values of horizontal dislocation and required roller adjustments in order to contact the generators

This equipment enables us to carry out measurements on all types of applications

Regarding specificities of kilns, our measures are carried out when equipment is cold, that is at a stoppage. On average, one working day of 10 hours should be scheduled for 3 tires.
