NOVEXA intervenes regularly on new crowns after fabrication.

Orientation crowns (tunnel boring machines, cranes, ...) are treated at 50 HRC (Rockwell hardness) and more.
After quenching, a distortion can be observed.
The shimming on the machine tool is very difficult.

NOVEXA is called upon to correct these distortions.
This procedure is carried out by manual grinding with :

- A successfully completed procedure thanks to 10 years of experience
- Special disks
- Specific control tools

We systematically use templates in order to control the entire process.
Nevertheless, in our machine shop, polymer imprints are created for profile projector control.

Tolerance levels must be inferior to 0,08 mm !

Since 2001, our interventions have always proven successful. On the other hand, we have come across companies who had provoked a removal from service of the affected machinery !

Our profession, which is extremely complicated, needs experienced and trained technicians.

A measurement column is used for control.
In some cases, while working on-site, the use of a square can control distortions.

The use of special finishing disks assures a perfect coating quality. It is impossible to make out that a manual remachining has been carried out.
